A cup of Earl Grey tea deliberately laced with milk. Baked beans on under-cooked toast, several mugs of coffee, much orange liquid. Half a herb omlette with boiled potatoes and fried courgettes. A pint of water not poured from a jug.

Three slices of French toast, for some reason now known as "eggy bread" and a pot of tea. Mug of green tea, individual chicken curry, three slices of bread. An orange. Pot of tea.



Instant coffee, gone cold before finished. Two of those. An orange kit-kat chunky. Sandwich containing mature cheddar cheese with tomato, lettuce, pickle and mayonnaise on wholemeal bread (Typical nutritional values: Protein 18.8g Carbohydrate 37.9g Fat 21.5g). Kit-kat chunky and a cup of coffee completed while still warm. Something else grabbed on the way home.

Savoury cheese croissant, chicken tikka salad baguette, king size Yorkie, bag of Walkers "Big Eat" beef & onion flavour crisps (suitable for vegetarians), 500ml bottle of Pepsi Max.



Small pot of coffee (3 cups) with milk; a sausage; a piece of marble slab cake. A plain chocolate biscuit. Egg mayonnaise and watercress sandwich. Ham sandwich, with maybe lettuce. Two glasses pink grapefruit juice. 3 half-slices of toast with 1. butter only; 2. butter & jam; 3 butter & marmalade, found under a plate, left over from Tuesday morning. Several chocolate biscuits. Cup of tea. Another. Two pieces of bread and butter. Dram (Glenmorangie).

Coke (a bottle), cup of white coffee, cup of black coffee. Pizza Piccanté. 150g bag of sea salt, rosemary and garlic Kettle Chips. 500ml tub of Ben & Jerry's Caramel Chew Chew ice cream. Two pots of tea.

Really strong cup of coffee with some semi-skimmed milk. A bowl of fresh-ish fruit salad. An Edam salad sandwhich and a bag of slightly salted crisps. Two glasses of cranberry juice -- still not enough. A Tesco's orange mini roll in the middle of the night.
